Our story

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychoeducation, while Dominic has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. After both our graduations from the University of Sherbrooke, we chose to shift from our academic backgrounds entirely and, instead, started our own business. Since we don’t like to do things halfway and have been together for 10 years now, we decided that our shared passion for healthy eating would guide our professional lives. So far, I must say that listening to our intuition was the best decision we could have made!

This mission was born during my time as a University student since it’s during those years that I started learning about the impact of healthy eating. After reading numerous scientific articles and watching several documentaries, I decided to become a vegetarian. The following year, I transitioned to veganism. It was from that moment on that I adopted a new habit that transformed my lifestyle: I started making smoothies every morning! I fell in love with how simple it was to incorporate nutritious foods that are essential for good physical and psychological health. Dominic followed me on this journey and, being the chef of the house, he had a lot of fun discovering a new world of possibilities in terms of healthy, vegan cuisine.
More than just a business project, Evive strives to have a positive impact on our environment and people’s daily routines. By making our wholesome, nutritious and convenient products accessible, we can attain our mission. Being able to prepare a delicious blender-free smoothie in seconds is what makes our frozen smoothie cubes very unique. They are indeed very practical in the food industry, just as they are in the homes of our customers.

In terms of our respective roles within the company, I love the fact that my partner has the entrepreneurial flair in his blood. His tenacious, innovative, and creative mind makes him an excellent asset, as well as an incredibly charming partner. On my end, Dominic has always defined my role as the soul of the company. It’s true that the Evive brand represents my own values and personality! We complement each other with our differences, but also have several common attributes. For example, our hard work and our willingness to convey harmony within the company have been prioritized since day 1 of this beautiful project that’s now 4 years old.
In short, what we wish is to facilitate your healthy lifestyle so that you feel amazing, which hopefully leaves more of your precious time to do what makes you the happiest! In other words, our mission is to empower you to get more from life through healthy eating.
